Important notes

How to use it

1. On your receiving Pokémon game, save your file inside a Pokémon Center.
2. Make sure you have at least one free slot in your party.
3. Turn off the receiving GBA system.
4. Insert the distribution cartridge into the sending GBA.
5. Insert your compatible Pokémon Gen III cartridge into the receiving GBA, or prepare to insert it during boot depending on method used.
6. Connect both systems using a Game Boy Advance link cable.
7. Turn on the sending system with the distribution cart inserted.
8. Select the Pokémon you want to send on the sending system.
9. Turn on the receiving system either:
   • without a cart inserted, then insert the receiving game when the colored Nintendo logo appears, or
   • while holding Start + Select if you are leaving the game cartridge inserted during boot
10. Wait a few seconds for the transfer process to begin.
11. When successful, the receiving game should show that a Pokémon is being received.
12. The distributed Pokémon will appear in your party.

Troubleshooting
If the transfer does not work:

• Double-check that the receiving game matches the same language as the distribution
• Make sure you followed the startup process exactly
• Confirm you saved in a Pokémon Center
• Confirm you have 1 free party slot
• Try a different link cable if using a third-party cable
• Try another GBA system if possible
• Try another compatible receiving cart
• If the cart stops transferring, power both systems off and restart the process
